Adam’s mystery club is very famous in ‘Chicago city’. His fellow members Joseph and Derrick solve mysteries with him.
Adam, a tall intelligent boy did most of the investigations in their cases. Joseph a short boy with curly hair organizes information and solves different types of codes. Derrick was a tall guy with a short hair and strong body. They took Derrick as an advantage to protect them from frontiers.
These three were childhood friends and had an ambition to become detectives. Now they are teens and are successful to create a mystery club and named their club as the ’MYSTERY CLUB’.
From the moment they started the ‘MYSTERIOUS THREE’ they had a rival club ‘TERRIFIC THREE’. Their members were Jennifer, Adrian and Ben. The ‘MYSTERIOUS THREE’ solved cases before ‘TERRIFIC THREE’. ‘TERRIFIC THREE’ always tried to beat them but couldn’t.
Joseph and derrick were discussing about their recent case. “The last case was tricky but we solved it with ease” said Derrick. Adam came and told “we have not been solving mysteries till ages”. Joseph said “I’ve heard that in District 3, house 6-3-2 /HN a very big manor people believe that there are ghosts in there and also told that there are scary sounds heard from the house at night. I suggest to go and snoop there”.
They finished their dinner and decided to investigate the house. The gate of the house was rusted and was difficult to open. “Oh, we have to climb” said Derrick. They climbed above the wall. Joseph struggled to climb but Derrick lifted him and they all were in. The house was weird looking and unpainted for many years.”I think the house is 20 or 30 yrs old “said Adam. The lawn was full of many dried plants.
“This house was owned by John Lewis. He died two decades ago. He had a only son Jack Lewis who inherited this manor. He is said to be abroad and he almost forgot about this house. People say the ghost of John Lewis is angry because his son never attended even his funeral. The ghost and the sounds are being heard from few months and they are only heard on a full moon day as John Lewis died on the full moon day.” said Joseph giving the details of this house he knew.
“Then it’s our luck we came today. The full moon is out and bright” said Adam.
“This house seems to be abandoned from the time John Lewis died. Look at those cobwebs on the walls. None of them has ever cared to clean this house in these years” said Derrick.
The door was locked and Adam told Derrick to break the door. The door was weak and it broke with ease. They entered with their torches on. They divided themselves and searched the ground floor thoroughly but found nothing. They all met back near the door. “Any clues found?” said Adam. “None” said Joseph and Derrick
The staircase was just near the door and they heard a weird clapping of bird’s sound from the first floor. They rushed up the staircase and went into the room inside where the sound came from. They entered the room and saw many bats and all of them ducked. They saw a coffin lying down in front of them. Suddenly the coffin opened and a Dracula came out of it and shouted. All of them jumped out of their skin and ran out of the room. “Now! I am convinced that it is a ‘HAUNTED HOUSE’.A Dracula in a coffin. What else would I expect in this old manor?” said Joseph.
“OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO” they heard a spooky voice. “Now what is that” said Derrick. They sound was heard from an adjacent room. They dashed into that room and saw a ghost.
“Derrick catch that ghost. Don’t be scared” said Adam. Derrick tries to catch the ghost but he is not able to. He just passes through it and bangs on the wall.
“Now I get out of this house, at once.” said Joseph and began to run out of the room.
“Joseph wait, it’s not a real ghost. See there.” Adam pointed towards an object in the shadow.
Derrick picked it up and saw that it was a small projector. Joseph stopped and saw it and relaxed and asked, “Who could have done this and why did they want to scare us.”
“Follow me , guys” said Adam. Adam took the projector and left the room went into the corridor and cried repeatedly, “This house is really haunted. I am going to leave this house at once”. He made creaking and loud sounds as if he was running from the house and asked us also to make those noises.
“Let’s wait in this room for a while” he whispered to us. “What is all this, Adam?” asked Derrick in a low voice.
“I will tell you later, wait. Derrick, be ready as we may need to do some fighting .” said Adam.
They heard some footsteps coming and heard a familiar voice saying, “It’s our day to win at last. We’ve lost many times. HAHAHAHA!!!The “MYSTERY CLUB” members are frightened and will now be trembling with fear. You heard that Adam’s voice. He was the one who was most frightened”.
“It’s Jennifer’s voice. I am sure it is her voice” said Joseph.
“Yes, he being a leader shouted like a coward. That was the most funny part of it. Let’s take our equipment. If anyone will find it we are in trouble.” said another familiar voice.
“And now it’s Ben’s voice and why are the ‘TERRIFIC THREE’ here”, asked
Derrick. “It’s time for action now. They have gone into that room. Ben’s strong so let Derrick take him and we’ll not let them exit the room.”

They three entered the room. Ben was finding the projector and cried, “Where has the ghost projector gone?”. Derrick took his advantage and attacked him and got hold of him.
“Hey, someone please help me get out of this Dracula costume” cried Adrian as he was struggling with that tight costume.
“Yes, coming” replied Adam in Ben’s voice. He went to that room covered his eyes and brought him to the ‘GHOST’ room.
“Your game is up now. Why did you do this?” asked Joseph.
“As you know we solve mysteries before them, they felt jealous and tried to take revenge by scaring us and solving the mystery themselves. Like that they could gain popularity.” said Adam.
“Yes you are right. The Dracula was Adrian and the bats were made by a projector too. For the sounds, we recorded them and played them. But how did you know that it was not a ghost easily and how did you set a trap us with ease?” asked Ben.
“I noticed that the ghost was giving out light and imagined why. Then I thought it might be a projector. I knew that whoever was there behind this will surely get back the projector. So we acted as if we left the house but hid in the next room.”
said Adam.
Another victory for the 'MYSTERY CLUB' and defeat for the 'TERRIFIC THREE'. Now they are waiting for another adventurous mystery to solve.
